My Lil Piece of Heaven is a peaceful retreat center near beautiful Silver Lake and Mount St. Helens, Washington. Our little piece of heaven was created as a place where people can slow down, reconnect, laugh, heal, create memories, and simply enjoy being together.

Our motto is simple: Come as friends, leave as family.

We welcome a variety of experiences, including spiritual retreats, silent retreats, creative retreats, nature retreats, meditation experiences, family getaways, romantic getaways, reunions, celebrations, hunting and fishing stays, stargazing weekends, and other special gatherings.

We also offer specially designed retreats focused on families, personal growth, anti-bullying support, and creating a safe and welcoming environment for people who may sometimes feel different or misunderstood.

We’re not trying to be a fancy hotel or a traditional resort.

We’re creating something smaller, warmer, quirkier, and more personal — a place where kids can laugh, adults can relax, families can reconnect, people can have meaningful conversations, and nobody has to pretend to have everything figured out.

Come for the mountain, the cabins, the stars, the retreats, the Sasquatch fun, or simply a little peace and quiet.

Absolutely! Families are an important part of what we are creating. Children are welcome, and many of our activities are designed to encourage families to relax, play, explore nature, and spend meaningful time together.

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult while on the property.

Yes! We want My Lil Piece of Heaven to be a place where people feel welcomed and respected. Neurodivergent guests, including autistic guests and families with special needs, are welcome.

If someone in your group has specific needs, please talk with us before your visit so we can discuss how we may be able to make their stay more comfortable.

There are wheelchair-accessible areas on the property; however, we are a small rural retreat and not every area has specialized accessibility equipment such as grab rails.

Please contact us before bringing a pet. Because we host different families, retreats, children, and guests with varying needs, pets must be approved in advance.

Service animals are accommodated in accordance with applicable law.

We have four themed guest cabins. Each cabin is approximately 10 × 20 feet and can sleep up to four guests.

Our cabin themes are:

• Gnomes, Honey Bees & Sunflowers
• Black Bears & Moose

Each one has its own personality and is meant to make your stay a little more fun and memorable.

Our cabins include a bathroom and kitchenette area with a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, and hot/cold water machine.

Guests can enjoy the property and its shared outdoor spaces and amenities during their stay.

Depending on availability and the type of gathering, arrangements may be available for groups wanting to use all four cabins for a weekend retreat, family gathering, celebration, or other special experience.

Yes. Free parking is available on the property for our guests.

Shared laundry facilities may be available during your stay. Please ask us about availability when making arrangements.

Depending on your visit and the season, you may enjoy relaxing around the propane fire pit, swimming and cooling off in our small pool, stargazing, exploring the grounds, visiting the orchard, playing outdoor games, enjoying family activities, relaxing in nature, or simply doing absolutely nothing for a while.

Some retreats and special events include additional scheduled activities.

The Squatch Shack is our fun little on-site snack and gift shop. We may have snacks, hot dogs, popcorn, drinks, and other goodies available, along with handmade or personally designed gifts and treasures created by our family.

And yes, Bigfoot fans should definitely stop by!

Our location makes us a fun home base for people coming to Southwest Washington for outdoor adventures, including fishing and seasonal hunting activities.

Guests are responsible for obtaining all required licenses and following Washington State laws and regulations.

Special evening experiences may be available depending on our schedule. Our low-light rural setting can make for some beautiful nights under the stars.

Yes! We love celebrations. Depending on the size and type of gathering, My Lil Piece of Heaven may be available for birthdays, reunions, anniversaries, family gatherings, and other special occasions.

Yes! You won’t have to go far for essentials or a bite to eat.

Drew’s Grocery & Service is a beloved community institution just minutes down the road. They carry groceries, deli items, and fuel — a perfect quick stop for anything you forgot to pack.

Silver Lake Resort Store & Cafe is about 2 miles away and offers casual dining, general supplies, and a lakeside atmosphere.

The town of Castle Rock is roughly 10 miles west (near I-5) and has a wider variety of options including Peper’s 49er Restaurant, Papa Pete’s Pizza, Mexican dining, fast-food spots, and the Cascade Select Market for fuller grocery shopping.

For larger stores and chain restaurants, Longview and Kelso are about 20 miles south on I-5.

Drew’s Grocery & Service is the closest — just minutes from the property on Spirit Lake Highway. They have groceries, snacks, deli food, and fuel. For a full-size grocery store, Cascade Select Market in Castle Rock is about 10 miles away.

Food packages may be available for certain stays and retreats. Current food options and suggested donations/pricing will be discussed when arrangements are made.

We are located in the Silver Lake area of Southwest Washington, near Mount St. Helens. The area offers beautiful scenery, wildlife, fishing, boating, hiking, hunting opportunities, stargazing, and plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors.

Exact arrival information and directions are provided to guests as appropriate for their stay or event.

For safety, we use a propane fire pit only. Personal wood-burning fires are not permitted unless specifically authorized.

Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM.

We want everyone to be able to enjoy the beautiful nighttime atmosphere while also respecting our guests and neighbors.

Because we are a small retreat center and space is limited, payments/donations made to reserve an experience are generally non-refundable. When circumstances allow, we will work with guests to reschedule their visit.

No. Unless a particular program specifically states otherwise, our retreats, spiritual activities, meditation experiences, and recreational programs are not substitutes for medical care, mental-health treatment, diagnosis, or therapy.

When licensed professionals participate in a particular retreat, their role and services will be clearly explained for that program.
